Welcome to my passion: " Creating breathtaking, impressive; stunning works of art"
My name is Caesar Yanez, I am a fine art bronze sculptor.
In a nutshell I strive to offer the most fulfilling experience for my clients. I do this by keeping in constant communication, via emails, phone calls and blog postings. For each composition I try to create a blog in order to memorialize the composition. For instance, a life-size bronze poodle for a San Francisco client, a life-size Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier for a Canadian client, a 1/3 scale Rhodesian Ridgeback for a Brazilian client have their respective blogs.
To request a quote for your bronze project, please use the on line form located on this page (to your right). Once I receive the mail-form I will reply within 48 hours.
My love and concentration is on producing spectacular, exciting; dramatic fine art bronze sculptures. My fine art bronze sculptures portray many subject matters and all incorporate my attention to detail, some see it as my hallmark.
For instance, my bronze dog statues are fashioned to the AKC "American Kennel Club" dog standards. In order to guarantee the bronze canine sculptures are accurate, I get together with show dog breeders and dog show judges for their professional observations and understandings of the breed’s standard.
I take pleasure in sculpting scenes of a breed in a historic scenes; for example, a bull-baiting scene where a bull is posed with one of the following breeds… English Bulldog, French Bulldog or Bull Terrier. Another example is the Rhodesian Ridgeback as they track an African Lion.
Bald Eagles have always fascinated me; therefore, I always wanted to sculpt this awesome raptor, but due to the great number of American Bald Eagle sculptures already in existence, I refrained from adding to the list. However, in 2011 after talking to a service man, I changed my mind and decided to sculpt a 3D life-size composition.
Myriad hours are dedicated into each wax or clay original sculpture prior to fabricating a mold for the fine art bronze castings.
Many collectors acquire and cherish my fine art sculptures for the superb concentration to detail, realism and historical accuracy.
Custom-built bronze statues are a thrill for both sculptor and client; moreover, together through great communication, brilliant works of art are achieved that meet the client’s expectations and revered by the public.
A few of my past sculptures that were originally produced in resin will now be cast in bronze. The bronze statues will be offered in a limited edition. Some of the past resin sculptures reproduced in bronze are, the English Bulldog, French Bulldog; Irish wolfhound.
This site exclusively features bronze sculptures. Please note: I no longer produce resin statues. They were phased out in 2005.
Projects that are scheduled, completed or in the planning stages:
If you have an interest in a particular breed, please email me handsofcaesar@gmail.com with your request. If there are enough interested parties, I will consider the task of sculpting the breed. I am sure I will enjoy the challenge of producing a bronze sculpture that will please collectors.
Many visitors to this site, ask…
What is lost wax?
The lost wax bronze process has been with us for thousands of years. The Greeks are attributed for being the first to produce life-size bronze figures. Other civilizations such as the Romans, Chinese and Egyptians also cast their art bronze works. Today, bronze art continues to be highly valued.
Bronze as a cast metal medium for sculptures is tremendously admired. Bronze alloys have uncommon and very advantageous properties of increasing slightly just before they solidify; hence, imprisoning the smallest details from the mold.
The strength of the material is an advantage when action sculptures or colossal sculptures are produced.
The production of art bronze statues is an extremely skillful and labor-intensive profession. A number of casting procedures are used for casting bronze, such as lost-wax casting (ceramic shell casting), sand casting; centrifugal casting.
The images depict the work in progress for the koi statue... released March 2009
Gary Pawlowski fabricated the
koi mold. Gary is a mold maker, sculptor; make up artist for the film industry and I was honored to have him create the mold for my bronze koi statue. Outstanding work!
Concept for the Rhodesian Ridgeback and Lion statue will be taken from the oil-on-canvas (left). The image on the right depicts the Rhodesian Ridgeback in its show pose. Once the clay sculpture is approved, I will begin on the action poses, similar to what is depicted on the painting.
The Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier was bred in Ireland to be an all-purpose farm dog whose responsibility would have incorporated herding, guarding livestock; vermin hunting and killing. They are thought to be related to the Kerry Blue Terrier.
Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers participate in obedience, agility, and tracking. In Ireland, they were generally referred to as the "Poor Man’s Wolfhound."
The first Wheaten Terriers were exported to the United States in the 1940s, serious attention in the breed took another ten years to increase. In 1973, they were acknowledged by the American Kennel Club.
