Well, the previous attempt for the Ridgeback failed. The scale was incorrect; therefore, the Ridgeback's scale needs to be increased. Otherwise, the lion would have been enormous when placed next to the dog sculpture.

The images above are the semi rough stages of the head section. Once the confirmation is approved, Caesar will add the detail.

The body will be sculpted separately and attached to the head later. By sculpting the head separately, the artist is able to have better leverage; therefore allowing him to work faster.
